  Wow! First evening Amur river fishing! And a new PB for Walleye. 3.1 kg!!! Although this isn’t Zander, like European pike-perch, it’s an American one, a whitefin or lightfin! Lat. Sander vitreus. I don’t have this species in my collection yet. It’s distinguished by its white lower fins, while the European pike-perch has a slightly white lower caudal fin at the tip. This is an invasive species for the Amur River. Removal of any length is highly recommended. Where did it come from?
