  Deep jungle Borneo fishing. I found myself deep in the jungle with a local guide, in a place known as the kingdom of the toman. That was exactly what I was hunting for. Judging by the splashing and activity, there were certainly plenty of fish around. All day long, I could hear nothing but heavy thuds and massive splashes. I was surrounded by a flooded forest of dead trees; the toman were lurking deep within the brush, making it impossible to cast a lure in there.   Fishing Brunei. There was a heavy rain at the first morning. A small barramundi got off the hook, and there was a hit by mangrove jack. Later in the day, we ventured deeper into the jungle as the heat set in. We were surrounded by crocodiles, hornbills, and palm thickets.
