  Deep jungle Borneo fishing. I found myself deep in the jungle with a local guide, in a place known as the kingdom of the toman. That was exactly what I was hunting for. Judging by the splashing and activity, there were certainly plenty of fish around. All day long, I could hear nothing but heavy thuds and massive splashes. I was surrounded by a flooded forest of dead trees; the toman were lurking deep within the brush, making it impossible to cast a lure in there.   Fishing Brunei. There was a heavy rain at the first morning. A small barramundi got off the hook, and there was a hit by mangrove jack. Later in the day, we ventured deeper into the jungle as the heat set in. We were surrounded by crocodiles, hornbills, and palm thickets.   Sup fellas!!! Thanks so much for the well-wishes!!! I spent nearly an hour replying to everyone. I’m deep in the jungle, northern Borneo. Just got off the water.
